How to check your propane cylinder for
leaks
Leak testing is absolutely a must when
connecting your propane cylinder to your
barbeque
1. Make up a solution of
liquid dishwashing soap and a little water.
2. With the barbeque valve turned in the OFF position
and the cylinder valve turned in the ON position - Spread the
soapy solution over all fittings, the hose and regulator.

3. Watch carefully for bubbles increasing in
size or increasing in number. If you see bubbling occur - then
you know you have a leak.
4. NEVER check for leaks with an open flame of any kind.
ANY sign of a leak and it must be repaired
immediately before attempting to use your propane
barbeque.
